HOLA LATINOS… Welcome to this week’s show. Sarah-Jane Fortune this time in the studios with a very busy show for you this week. Mariateresa is back again with her section and this week it is about the dream of the Venezuelan people for 2019. We have an interview that Sinead McGrath has prepared for us for her section Sobre la Marcha where she speaks to the organisers of the Dee Dee Swing Festival and renowned jazz dancer, Claudia Fonte. Sarah Jane will also be speaking to Tomas from LASC, from the Latin American Solidarity Centre, who will be telling us about some of their events that are coming up next week and a little bit about the background of the events too
«Sobre la Marcha»
Sinead McGrath is in Cordoba, Spain, with her section Sobre la Marcha where she speaks to the organisers of the Dee Dee Swing Festival and renowned jazz dancer, Claudia Fonte, and her group Solology, a project created with curiosity and excitement to find inspiration in the differences among individual dancers and shaped by finding and developing tools for individual improvement and growth while encouraging self-confidence and responsibility towards oneself and the group.
As usual in Radio Latina, we have plenty of Latin music for you and this week with a little twist. As Sinead’s interview is about jazz and swing dancing, so we have some Latin jazz in the show.
